Edward holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Before entering film school, he served as an Air Defense Artillery and Finance Officer in the United States Army, and as an internal auditor at the CBS Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC.
He aspires to one day run his own independent studio. He makes socially relevant films that not only entertain, but also open dialogue and break down stereotypes and prejudices. His films will give a voice to those who can’t speak, taking audiences to places they have never imagined.
After seeing The Kid Stays in the Picture, a documentary film depicting the life of famed Hollywood producer Robert Evans, Edward was inspired to quit his job and apply to the world famous NYU graduate film program. The films he has produced have screened at dozens of festivals all over the world including: 38th Annual Student Academy Awards, Slamdace, Cinequest Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival, Austin Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and Gen Art.
